Double Page Spread Adverts

  • Please add a minimum 10mm gutter on the inside spine edge and within the trim width to Double Page Spread adverts.
  • Text should only be included in the Type area, which is at minimum 10mm on all sides, but in most cases we reccomend leaving 15mm space on the left, bottom and right edges of the page.
  • Do not split letters or words over a Double Page Spread.

Accepted file formats

We work best with professional design files. Please provide your artwork in one of the following formats:

  • Adobe Suite: INDD (InDesign), PSD (Photoshop), AI (Illustrator)

  • Standard formats: PDF, EPS, TIFF, JPEG

Layout & design tips

  • Double Page Spreads: Please supply these as a single PDF file containing two individual pages.

  • Bleed: If your design extends to the edge of the page, please include a 3mm bleed on all sides. If you don’t have this set up, don’t worry—we can add it for you.

  • Safety Zone: To keep your design looking clean and professional, please ensure all text stays at least 10mm away from the edges (the trim) and the centre fold (the gutter).

Our commitment to you

Our goal is to get your advert printed perfectly. If your file arrives with slightly different specifications, our production team will gently resize or adjust it to ensure it fits the publication standards.

  • You’re in control: If we need to make any significant changes to your layout, we will always send you a proof to review and approve before we go to print.

Technical Requirements

To ensure the highest print quality and vibrant colours for your advert, please double-check these technical details before sending your files over:

  • Resolution: Please ensure all images are set to 300dpi for a crisp, high-quality finish.

  • Colours: Artwork should be supplied in CMYK colour mode. If you’re working in RGB, Pantone, or other formats, don’t worry—our team will convert these for you during the setup process.

  • Fonts: To keep your design looking exactly as intended, please embed all fonts in your document. If you are sending an EPS file, please ensure your text is converted to paths or outlines before saving.
