Professional Advert Design Included
Our free design service is available to advertisers booking space in the Poole or Purbeck editions of Love It Local.
Simply send us information about your business, along with your logo and photographs. We’ll use these to create an advert suited to the size you have booked.
There is no separate design charge when the advert is being created for publication in Love It Local.
What We Need From You
To help us create an effective advert, please provide:
- Your business name
- A brief description of what you offer
- The main message you want the advert to communicate
- Any offer, price or promotion you want featured
- Your telephone number
- Your email address
- Your website and social-media details
- Your logo
- Suitable good-quality photographs
- Any particular wording or design requests
You don’t need to write perfectly polished advertising copy. Send us the important information and we can arrange it into a clear advert.
Choosing Your Main Message
Try to decide what you most want readers to notice or remember.
This could be:
- A particular product or service
- A seasonal offer
- An upcoming event
- A reason to choose your business
- Your location and contact details
- A general introduction to your business
Keeping the message focused is especially important in smaller advert sizes. We may not be able to include every piece of information supplied, but we’ll prioritise the details most useful to the reader.
Sending Images and Logos
Please provide the best-quality versions available.
Original image files are preferable to photographs copied from social media or screenshots. Logos should ideally have a clear or transparent background where possible.
You can upload your images and logo during the advert-request process. If your files are too large, or you need to send more than the form allows, contact us and we’ll arrange another way to receive them.
Your Advert Proof
We’ll send you a proof before your advert goes to print.
Please check the proof carefully, including:
- Business and contact details
- Spelling and wording
- Prices, dates and offers
- Photographs and logo
- The overall appearance
Let us know promptly if anything needs to be changed. We’ll make the agreed amendments and send another proof for you to check.
When Should I Send My Information?
Please submit your wording, logo and photographs before the copy deadline for your chosen issue.
Sending everything early gives us more time to create your advert, send the proof and complete any amendments before the magazine goes to print.
Can I Use the Advert Elsewhere?
Adverts created through the free design service are produced for publication by Love It Local. Please refer to the Magazine Advertiser Contract or contact us if you would like to use the finished design elsewhere.
