Everything you need to know about approving your advert, paying your invoice and meeting the copy deadline.
Advert Proofs
If we design your advert
When you use our free design service, we’ll send you a proof before your advert goes to print.
Please check the entire advert carefully, including:
- Business name
- Telephone numbers
- Email and website addresses
- Dates, prices and offers
- Spelling and wording
- Photographs and logo
- Overall appearance
Let us know as soon as possible if anything needs to be changed. We’ll make the agreed amendments and send you another proof to check.
Your advert will only be treated as ready for publication once the proofing process has been completed in accordance with the Magazine Advertiser Contract.
If you supply a finished advert
Please check your finished artwork carefully before sending it to us.
If your advert meets our artwork specifications and can be printed without alteration, we’ll normally use the supplied version. If we need to make any changes, we’ll send you an amended proof before publication.
Payment
No payment is taken when you submit your advert request through the website.
We’ll send you an invoice separately. Advertising is payable in advance, and your space is not guaranteed until payment has been received.
Your invoice will show the advert size, magazine edition, number of issues and agreed price.
If you have a question about an invoice, please contact us before the payment deadline.
Copy Deadlines
Your advert, design information and suitable images should reach us before the relevant copy deadline.
Submitting everything early gives us enough time to create your advert, send proofs and make any requested changes before the magazine goes to print.
Spring issue – 1st February
Summer Issue – 1st June
Autumn Issue– 1st September
Winter issue – 2 November
Copy deadlines apply to all magazines we publish.
What must be submitted by the deadline?
If you’re supplying a finished advert, we’ll need your complete print-ready artwork.
If you’re using our free design service, please send:
- The wording for your advert
- The contact details to be included
- Your logo
- Suitable good-quality photographs
- Details of any offers, prices or important dates
- Any particular design requests
Please allow time to check and approve your proof before publication.
Running the Same Advert Again
If you’ve booked more than one issue, we can continue to use your existing approved advert unless you ask us to change it.
Please send any updated wording, images, prices or contact details before the copy deadline for the next issue.
