LOVE IT LOCAL Purbeck Privilege Card
Helping local shoppers, businesses and charities
What's the LiL card all about?
The ethos behind the card is to help as much of the local community as possible, whether it’s shoppers enjoying special offers, local businesses getting increased footfall and more sales, or local charities and voluntary groups receiving donations from the sale of the community cards.
The Love it Local Purbeck Privilege Card is in effect a discount card. It is used at local participating businesses who are making a special offer. On presenting the card the offers can be redeemed. The cards sell for £6.00 each with all profits going to local charities via the Wareham and the Swanage Rotary Clubs.
The card has again received the backing of the local branches of the Co-op in Wareham and in Swanage, being collection points for cards sold through our website.
Love It Local cards are also on sale at a number of local, businesses including AF JOYS in Wareham, the NORDEN FARM SHOP near Corfe Castle, CORBENS ESTATE AGENTS in Swanage, or online at purchases.loveitlocalmagazine.co.uk .
At the end of each promotion a transfer is made to the chosen charities. Last year we raised nearly £1300! This year we are teaming up with the Wareham and Swanage Rotary Clubs who we’ve fundraised with before. They are in contact with a number of local charities and groups and will channel our funding to them.
Who are we supporting?
Rotary Wareham help the community whilst having fun and meeting people! We meet twice a month at the Springfield Country Hotel on Tuesdays from 7.15pm. Here’s our website.
Swanage and Purbeck Rotary are a group of more than 40 men and women from all walks of life who share a common aim to help others while enjoying each others’ company. The group gets together on a regular basis in Swanage and the surrounding area. Here’s our website.
