Join the Belvedere Singers in Swanage – No Auditions, Just a Love of Singing!
If you’ve ever found yourself singing along to the radio, enjoying a tune in the shower, or reminiscing about your school choir days, why not take the next step and join a welcoming local choir?
The Belvedere Singers are currently looking for new members and would love to welcome anyone with a passion for singing. Whether you’re an experienced musician or someone who simply enjoys making music, you’ll find a friendly and supportive atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to take part.
One of the best things about joining the choir is that there are no auditions. Members support one another, making it an ideal place for those who are new to choral singing as well as more confident performers. New singers are also invited to come along and try a rehearsal free of charge before deciding whether to join.
The choir performs a wonderfully varied repertoire, including sacred music, popular songs from stage and screen, modern arrangements of well-loved folk songs, and powerful opera choruses. As they proudly say, “We love a challenge!”
The Belvedere Singers rehearse on Tuesday evenings during term time, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Swanage.
If you’ve been looking for a new hobby, a chance to meet new people, or simply an opportunity to enjoy singing in a relaxed and friendly environment, the Belvedere Singers could be just what you’re looking for.
