MNDA East Dorset and New Forest Branch thank the people of Wareham

MNDA thanks wonderful Wareham for their generosity

MNDA East Dorset and New Forest Branch would like to thank the people of Wareham for their generosity.

The branch was pleased to have been chosen as one of the charities that benefited from the “bucket collections” that took place on the four nights of fun and laughter, during the summer of 2025 at Wareham Wednesdays. A cheque for £750 was presented to MNDA by Ant Pack,  Wareham Wednesdays Chairman.

The Branch are delighted to have been recognised by the Committee, and would again like to thank the people of Wareham (and visitors) for supporting the Charity.

The small group of volunteers will be back again to take part in the 2026 Wareham Wednesdays. The dates to come and visit their successful games stall will be 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th August. See you there!

Thanks to AF Joy’s for their support

A F Joy Menswear Shop, Wareham again showed their support for the East Dorset and New Forest Branch of Motor Neurone Disease by donating a fabulous Christmas Hamper full of goodies.

Raffle tickets were sold by the Staff of A F Joy, Merville, Zoe, Liz and Kay, and a magnificent £375 was raised for the Branch. The draw took place on the 15th December, drawn by Mr. and Mrs Gover (owners), and the lucky, local man to win the Hamper was Matt Welsh.

Well done Matt, we hope you and your family enjoyed the contents of the hamper.

Our thanks again to A F Joy for their continued commitment to the East Dorset and New Forest Branch of MND, and special thanks go to everyone who was kind enough to buy a Raffle Ticket.
