The Wareham community has come to the assistance of a local in need of assistance. Chris Fuller is known to many around the Wareham and wider area and is often seen out and about on his mobility scooter around town. Recently his mobility scooter failed him, and he had become house bound through no fault of his own.

Chris has been a volunteer around Wareham for many years and has helped entertain and organise events around town. Since leaving a national entertainment holiday company (Hi De Hi), Chris has been involved locally as a Scout leader, Carnival committee and Wareham Wednesday’s member to name a few. Along with more recently being an active member of the Muddlecombe Men.

Beerex and the Muddlecombe Men join forces to fund a brand-new mobility scooter

When Chris needed help, as his old mobility scooter was constantly failing him and beyond repair. The Wareham community in terms of ‘Wareham Beerex team’ and ‘The Muddlecombe Men’ came to his assistance and donated money to get him mobile again with a brand-new scooter.

Wareham Beerex organise events in Wareham and raise funds for the benefit of the community.

The Muddlecombe Men are often seen out and about supporting Wareham Carnival, Christmas Parade and Wareham Wednesdays helping fund raising events.
